There are times while writing these stories I can’t help but think I’m living inside of a movie or maybe even a fairy tale. This is one of those times.
Why? Well, a sheep has been arrested and sentenced to three years in prison after killing a woman in Africa. Seriously, a sheep has been convicted of murder and sent to prison. I swear, I couldn’t make this stuff up if I tried.
The sheep was arrested in South Sudan earlier this month after attacking a woman, who later died from her injuries, according to MSN.
According to Police Chief Major Elijah Mabor the ram attacked the woman by hitting her in the ribs killing her instantly.
“Our role as police is to provide safety and separate fights. The ram was apprehended and currently under custody at a Police Station.”

The murderous animal was apprehended and taken to a local jail, where it was found guilty of murder and sentenced to three years in a military prison camp, according to Times Now News.
“The owner is innocent and the ram is the one who perpetrated the crime so it deserves to be arrested, then later on the case shall be forwarded to customary court where the case can be handled amicably,”

The local court has also ruled that the owner of the sheep has to pay the victim’s family five cows as compensation, as reported by NDTV.
